Hemp oil has been well known and used in folk medicine for hundreds of years for skin care and alleviation of skin lesions. The range of its uses for the skin is enormous.
Hemp oil can be used to:
- strengthen the skin's natural resistance to external factors
- reduce the risk of skin irritation, hyperpigmentation and inflammation
- intensively moisturize by penetrating into deep layers of skin
- cure skin conditions such as psoriasis, AZS, eczema
- reduce discolorations by improving skin tone and by glowing gray, lacking radiance skin
- restore skin elasticity and firmness, regenerate and prevent wrinkles
- thanks to high content of chlorophyll in cannabis seeds it has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties
Hemp seed contains 80% of its volume in unsaturated fatty acids in an ideal, best-possible 3: 1 human-readily available cannula. Linoleic acid and linolenic acid are precursors. Local hormones such as prostaglandins, whose function is to keep the skin in good shape and prevent premature aging. Thanks to the content of essential unsaturated fatty acids hemp oil keeps the skin in good condition and prevents its premature aging. Necessary unsaturated fatty acids also play an extremely important role in improving the protective function of the epidermis, making it more elastic, dramatically reducing TEWL, which helps maintain natural skin resistance to external factors such as mechanical abrasions or extremely low temperatures. The dermatological and cosmetic efficacy of hemp plant essential fatty acids (EFAs) in hemp oil is linked to their ability to build into intercellular structures, resulting in significant improvement in skin elasticity.
Hemp oil is called "dry oil" because it is one of the best natural skin moisturizing oils. It is very quickly and deeply absorbed, leaving no greasy film on the skin. It also has extremely beneficial properties to alleviate skin changes and diseases such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, eczema, seborrhea, or pruritus in people with allergies. Interestingly, hemp oil decreases discoloration and levels the skin tone. The Oil is recommended for the care of any type of skin: oily skin with tendency to acne lesions (regulates sebum secretion), dry skin (intensively moisturizes), damaged (regenerates), sensitive and mature.
